UEFI, EFI, elilo and Slackware

 I recently came across a system that would not allow me to use legacy boot, so...

Install Slackware as normal but while creating the partitions, create an EFI partition (does size matter) and continue as normal. Importantly, when selecting your TARGETS or rather afterwards, it should state that it is adding an efi partition to fstab.

Then, when it gets to the usual LILO install screen you should have the option to skip LILO installation and install ELILO instead.

mkdos? /dev/...[efi partition]

mount /boot/efi (assuming it is listed in fstab)
