Convert PostgreSQL database to MySQL

To convert from a PostgreSQL database to MySQL;

Check out this link



Run the following;

pg_dump -U username -s dbname --inserts --format p -f dbname.sql

Create the MySQL database (TODO)

Copy the code from the window in the page in the link above.

I used DataGrip, opened a console and executed but I'm sure it can be imported directly with some mysql command (to be investigated).

Note: I had to remove the TYPE entries from the file before executing.
